Turkmen pilav


Ingredients:
3/4 cup vegetable oil
0,5 pound meat(I used chicken wings)
2 carrots
1,5 cup rice
1 medium onion
boiled water
salt

First, chop the meat then put a vegetable oil into a pot. Next, roast the meats. Then, put chopped onion and roast about 2 minutes. After that put chopped carrots and mix them and roast together about 2 minutes. Next, pour boiled water into a pot until it covers the carrots and add salt(1 tbs). Also, put rice into a different container and pour the boiled water into the rice until it covers the rice level and wait 3 minutes. Then, wash the rice with cold water and put into a pot. After that again pour the boiled water until it cover the rice about 1 inch and mix it until the water disappears. Next, get your oven to low and cover your pot with potcover, wait about 20 minutes. Then, mix pilav and again cover a pot about 20 minutes.Now your Turkmen pilav is ready to serve. Enjoy you meal!!!!
